Farley

It's my job to feed Farley in the morning promptly at 7:30. He starts pacing back and forth along the fence of his pen from about 6:30 a.m. because he sees someone is up downstairs getting ready for the day. It takes him a long time to eat his breakfast. He gets oats and vitamins and hay at night and just hay in the morning. I fill his trough of water too. He has enjoyed nibbling the snow but is missing nibbling the grass so we take him baby carrots and slices of apples. He didn't like the celery. It was neat to see him run in the snow. He was really happy and excited about it! I was afraid he would run with me on him but he didn't. I gave him a good brushing too to warm him up but he probably isn't very cold. He has a lot of fur right now that he will lose in the spring. It was so nice that Misha taught me how to lift his hoof by his feathers and clean his feet. I was having a hard time lifting them before. She loved Farley and even laid on him. She has a very tall horse.
That's all for now. I have to do chores.
