Addison's Surgery

Olivia went to California to help Emily and Addison when she had her second surgery to repair her cleft palate. Every thing went good even though the recovery was hard. She is still a little fussy but can suck her bottle so much better than before and is surprised at how much milk comes out. Olivia is going to stay and help them move to a bigger house at the end of the month. I wish I could go down to help them too. My mom said maybe I can help Emily when her new baby boy is born in a few months.

I had a fun sleepover last weekend (wish you were here Tirzah!). We had fun watching movies - my favorite was Blindside. It was about a football player that was adopted by a rich family. It made me think about helping people,even if they have a really bad background. It was fun to bowl together and go to church together!

I have been enjoying mowing the spring grass coming up! It has also been fun going to Awana JVs ,the next group up. I made 2 flat chocolate cakes (most people think it's brownies) to share with all of them at the last meeting. Elizabeth led singing along with Heather Vereide on guitar. Katie played her drums, and Brittany and Brooke played piano. Alayna sang Blessed Be Your Name.

I have stopped biting my nails. It has been 4 days .... but they are already showing white parts at the top of the nail! I am doing it because they were not pretty when they were short but prettier when they were a little bit longer.
